For those unfamiliar with the SaGa games, they can be thought of as Final Fantasy’s psychotic little brother who’s sole mission in life is to bring gamers indescribable pain. You cannot call yourself a hardcore JRPG player unless you’ve beaten at least one SaGa game, these are games that do NOT want to be won and will fight you tooth and nail to make sure it stays that way. Of course, you can’t talk about SaGa without mentioning the incredible music by Kenji Itou which was suppose to be the point of this post actually.

That being said, the Romancing Saga games which were popular in the Super Famicom days had some of the best music around, and each tune was extremely addictive like MIDI laced with crack. It hence became extremely easy to recognize Kenji Itou’s particular style and extremely hilarious to parody, as is the case here.

Just for the hell of it, here’s the Cheetahmen song done in Saga style, proving that yes, just about every music genre imaginable has a Cheetahmen variation.
