Zephos' Everyday Life

That’s right, Lufia II, known as Estpolis Biography II in Japan which admittedly doesn’t quite roll off the tongue as well is getting a remake, and fans are… outraged? Well, I can kinda’ see how completely changing the genre of a game could do that. Lufia II was originally a party turn based RPG, but from the looks of it, it’s going to be made into an action RPG!… break out the pitchforks! ^_^

I have fond childhood memories of Lufia II, one part because of the awesome gameplay, another part because of the extremely touching ending, and another for always using the rocking chair in my room to auto-play the slot machine all night long by sitting it on the controller. I loved the original game, but the franchise was pretty much dead, dead, dead so I’m looking very much forward to this remake!

One of best things about Lufia II is that anyone who played five minutes of the first game knew that unless there was a shift in the space time continuum or parallel universe, Maxim the protagonist and his wife Selan were totally going to die at the end of the game. However, it makes me wonder if they might actually use the shift in the space time continuum or parallel universe card this time around. Who knows? It could happen ^_^.
